After decades of development, China’s bicycle industry has become the representative of the world’s largest industrial scale, the most complete industrial chain and the strongest manufacturing capacity.China’s bicycle industry remained stable in 2018, despite multiple factors such as a sharp drop in the production of shared bikes, trade frictions between China and the US, and the EU’s anti-dumping and anti-tariff measures.According to the statistics of China Bicycle Association, the total bicycle production in 2018 was 73.201 million, down 17.1% year on year;The export volume was 59.272 million units, up 5.1% year on year;The output of electric bicycles reached 32.776 million units, up 5.8 percent year on year.Exports reached 1.877 million units, up 10.4 percent year on year.
